My Headcannon is quite complex, but bear with me here. Pokemon of certain types have a reserve that lets them do their moves that they eventually have to refill. here are the examples I can think of: - Water types will eventually run out of water, and will eventually need to refill their bodies with water. - Fire types will eventually run out of stuff to burn to make their fire, and will some how need to refill their body with flammable material ( it could be wood, lighter fluid, butane, flammable gas) -Rock types will eventually need to stock up on rocks to throw at their opponents. - Poison types eventually need to refill their reserve of poison - Electric types need to recharge themselves, maybe by eating batteries or hooking themselves up to power lines it also stands to reason that larger Pokemon will be able to hold larger reserves of what they need to do their moves, and that trainers would need to consider how much ammo their pokemon have left, as I don't see how a Pokemon could refill their reserve. I just don't understand how a tiny little blue turtle could shoot an infinite stream of high pressure water

my Headcannon is really simple: I doesn't seem reasonable to me that types have an infinite stock of stuff to throw at opponents, and occasionally need to reload. for instance, water types will occasionally need to reload their bodies with water by drinking water, fire types need to occasionally consume flammable material to reload their fire abilities, rock types need to refill their rocks, poison types need to refill poison, etc. with larger Pokemon obviously having bigger reserves.

I wish, one day, with all my heart, that Digimon and Pokemon finally makes a collab game where we go on adventures as/with both Riolu and Gaomon from Digimon. They could be friendly rivals that travel and grow stronger together. There could also be a plot point where Gaomon would be amazed that Riolu permanently changes how it looks once it evolves while Riolu gets jealous because of the amount of times and variations Gaomon can evolve. All to culminate to a scene where Lucario, now owning a Mega Stone, fights alongside MirageGaogamon and transforms to Mega Lucario and MirageGaogamonBurst at the end. Punchy Bros that learn a lot from each other and forever strive to be the best version of themselves. Both from gen 4 (if you count Digimon's 02 continuity to be the same gen as the original Adventure season that is), both brawlers, both have a sense of justice... It would be SO good. Make it a 12 episode anime, a visual novel, mask it behind a mobile card game who cares; I just want it SO bad (plus it would revitalise the love for gen 4 pokemon that Ilca squandered. Maybe Gaomon can talk about how he heard this 1 human used to beat perfect level Digimon simply by punching them)

Time to throw my hat into the ringer with my first ever Pokemon headcanon(I think-): The protagonist of Scarlet/Violet is a very secretly manipulative and frustrated person. They really don't care for much or anything, not really because they have their own goals but just because they don't care for this nonsense, and are frustrated because they get thrown into things when they don't want to or get too socially scared to refuse. So it just gets to the point where they stop caring, go along with it, and find ways of getting what they want in the end to make up for their lack of control. I mean, wasn't it weird that they try to befriend their teachers, going out of their way to find and talk to them when they don't need to? Like I get kindness and trust is the norm in the Pokemon universe but even that's a little out of the norm for average Pokemon protagonists.

Got some more head canons 1. Ash after Journeys pops in out of society to go travelling with Pikachu. He'll basically go missing for a few months and then be seen spending time with some old companions the go back into hiding and be seen defending a champ title. 2. Pokemon just adapt to their environment way faster than real life animals. That's how Unova can suddenly have all these different pokemon living in it in the span of a few years, or how Sneasel in Sinnoh can completely change type in only a few hundred years 3. All the professors get their starters from the Blueberry Terrarium. Cyrano's really good friends with all of them and every years when students at Blueberry are on break, Cyrano invites them all just to share their research and study pokemon in the Terrarium

Ash and Misty being close feels right, which makes it perfect for my head canon of Misty being Ash’s first human friend (I know I may have brought it up before). The only other kids interacting with him as a kid that we’ve seen in the show are Gary (who’s a big jerk to him) and Serena (who only stayed one summer). Even if Ash and Misty aren’t romantically paired up, you can tell they treasure each other (risking their lives for each other, physical contact, proximity, etc). He may care about all his friends without a doubt, but she just hits different. Also, after Ash is done with his journey in the anime, Jessie and James go into hiding and eventually have grandchildren named Carmine and Kieran (Epilogue of Scarlet and Violet: Mochi Mayhem shows the grandfather has Arbok and Weezing).

I like to believe that Fire Red and Leaf Green games are actually named after their two protagonists, with their full names being Red Fire and Green Leaf. This would be the explenation as to why the female trainer’s name is always so inconsistent (Masters calls her Leaf, Let's Go calls her Green, etc.) Because sometimes she is referred to with her forename, and sometimes her surname. Furthermore, it would also explain why there never was a remake of the blue version - Blue’s family name is Oak, not Water. In general, I really like full name headcanons for some reason. Like Blue’s middle name being Gary (or rather Gerald) corresponding to his counterpart in the television series, or Red being short for Redmond.

I'm a heavy shipper so these are just ship dynamics: Brendan is one of the reasons May doesn't get into a battle every 5 minutes, and he's also the only one she'd listen to. Nate is very oblivious, hence why he never notices Rosa blushing like a schoolgirl around him. No matter what, Lillie's reflexes always point toward Elio, so everytime she gets surprised her first instinct is jump into him.

Here's some of my headcanons (bit lengthy) - Ash gets with Serena, but the way Ash realized that Serena was in love was because, years down the line, Ash was just lost in his thoughts, tying his shoes or something, and absent mindedly thought about The Kiss and then froze as he thought back and finally realized YEARS later that Serena was in love with him. - The reason why Ash's Pikachu is so powerful is because of the fact that he was struck by lightning MULTIPLE TIMES and has become super charged, along with the fact of him being with Ash allowed Pikachu to go on soo many journeys and defeating MULTIPLE over powered legendary and mythical pokemon. - Arceus saw Ash one day and thought "You know what, I like you." And let him have the opportunity to see every single legendary/mythical pokemon, get an overpowered Pikachu, gave his Greninja special powers, and let him have his own special Z-crystal. -Arceus is also looking at Ash fail so many tournaments and is just so confused. He's just like "Dude, I'm giving you so many overpowered stuff. HOW ARE YOU NOT WINNING?!" - Team Rocket's disguises are working only because 1) Ash is almost never actually looking out for them so when they are right there he just glances over them and doesn't think that some random strangers is Team Rocket. 2) Team Rocket spends so long trying to catch Pikachu, nobody else knows who they are and just thinks they're just some random people being stupid. 3) Ash has a terrible attention span and just forgets that they exist after they blast off. - The only reason it's taking Greninja so long to get rid of the vines, is because they only pop up like once a month, and every time it takes them any longer to show up, Greninja thinks he's done and Squishy just looks at him and says "No you're not. There's more." - The earliest a person can become a trainer is 10, but a lot will wait longer, while others want them as soon as possible(Ash). - Ash keeps forgetting his age and defaults to saying he is 10. - He also has never kept track of the days so he doesn't actually know his own age.

First time on Headcannons yeah 1. Wikstrom was originally just some random dude from a Renaissance festival who was good at batting. 2. Don't know if it's confirmed or not but I'd believe that Marnie is incredibly nice and compassionate once you start talking to her, but just acts tough. 3. Archie and Maxie don't really hate each other, they're just doing the thing guys due where they constantly hate on and try to one up each other but at and extreme level and would immediately stop what their doing if they think there going to far.

See, the Mega Evo one makes no sense. The Pokedex isn't a reliable source of info, and we essentially see 0 proof that Mega Evo is dangerous.

The other champions do not like Geeta because of the champion rank stuff that she pulled and because how she is an embarrassment to them because of it and how bad she is as a trainer. Another is that Nemona’s arm brace is because of an injury she got when she was younger and she needs it in order to use her hand correctly.

My headcanon is that the real reason Giovanni disbanded the Rockets was because he already owned a casino, which was probably way more profitable than stealing random Pokemon. Being the head of a criminal organization was just a liability at that point, when he could just rob people the legal way with slot machines. Being beaten by a ten-year-old was just icing on the cake. He was probably going to quit either way. It's kinda funny how the player just lets him go, without facing any legal consequences.

- Iris LOVES musicals - I second the "Ash needs glasses" headcanon. If he were allowed to age throughout the series he'd probably get them during the XY seasons. - the XY anime takes place in a different timeline, just as the games do, and the Ash we see there is different than the one in previous seasons. Nothing dramatic happened to the previous Ash, he's just taking a break doing some other thing for a little while. - if Ash ever shows up in the Scarlet/Violet anime he needs to be an old man. A bit late to this and I am pretty sure I did this on a previous video but here it is anyways. 1: i like to think Greninja (as a species) has a pretty intimidating resting face, which makes most Pokemon and people feel uneasy. But when you talk to them, they immediately switch up and get more expressive. Especially if you are their trainer or a close ally. 2: When Serena (game) is angry, she speaks French. She doesn’t even realize she does it until she cools down or someone points ir out to her.

I have a head cannon that since it's mentioned, Leon has no sense of direction he gets lost in the middle of the night (possibly sleepwalking lol) or the worst time possibly, and sonia, or hop gotta go find him and go on a goose chase after he called one of them because he got lost again

I love this headcanon that was developped on Twitter: Iono is actually in her 30s and only acts young because it's part of her on-stream persona. She's been at it for years without changing.She was already around when Grusha was a pro snowboarder and none of her slang is particularly modern. Being a streamer is her job, her business, so she's very serious about keeping her 'brand' consistant. When she needs a break she dresses like a woman her age, takes off the fake teeth and wig, and disapears into the crowd.

a few my personal headcanons: - (kind of goes with the “geeta is a bad champion) the paldea elite 4 members + gym leaders make themselves seem extra nice to challengers so if they can finally replace geeta with them they’d get a pay raise - there is a battle cafe in stow-on-side but it’s in the back of the gym solely reserved for allister and bea. having snack breaks back there as they wait for challengers with sinistea tea for allister and a bunch of sweets for bea. - raihan was an ipad kid growing up and leon was the adventurous one who’d have to drag him outside.

Commented this on a previous video, but I'm re-commenting it here -Avid Pokemon battlers tend to have breathing/vision issues due to lung and eye irritation from the ash, dust, and debris caused by battles. (This is was especially bad after the crisis, for the trainers in Lumiose City who took part in the league.) -Official Pokemon battles will typically have a Pokemon that knows protect stand by trainers to stop them from being hit by stray attacks.

One idea I’ve had is that if anybody could possibly form a strong enough bond with the Bond Phenomenon, the trainer would grow similar to their Pokemon in a way. It’s mentioned how Bond Phenomenon makes Pokemon look like their trainers, so it could possibly work the other way around too. They already share their senses, why couldn’t they share abilities? It’s never happened before, that we know of, but if just a bond has that much power, who’s to say how far it could go

My head cannon: I think Alain was holding back in the Gallar tournament. In Kalos he was going all out not holding anything back as if it was a death match, because he wanted to protect Mairin and had to prove himself as the strongest, but after that he opened up he was fine if he wasn't the strongest, and just let Leon win or atleast didn't give it 100%. Alain taught his Charizard geometry/trigonometry for Arceus's sakes.

Personal and sad headcannon. Carmine and Kieran are Geeta’s kids, but somehow, they think she died. Geeta stays in paldea because she doesn’t want to remember the bad things that separated them, which also can explain her actions to the students and player. Carmine and Kieran have no idea who their mom is or what happened to her.

I do have a new head canon that is quite interesting: Aura Guardian's are more common than originally thought, just with their abilities dormant within them. Other than Riley and Ash, who are confirmed, some other possible are N, Korrina, her family, and what might be the most random one, Cynthia.

I suppose I can contribute a few head cannons. 1: The Pokemon cartoon is literally a show. The characters never seem to age because their roles are recasted by fresh talent for each new region. Also, Princess Sylvia is one of two actresses who played the role of Dawn, and the two girls manage to convince the studio director to allow a fun episode that would let them both appear on screen at the same time. And also give them an excuse to play dress up in the back. 2: Mermaid Sisters Remember the episode where Misty's sisters convinced her to join the underwater ballet? Just what if? Misty and her sisters grew up watching the Pokemon world's equivalent of the Little Mermaid? It's one thing the four sisters could always share a love for, and it allowed them to put together their performance on short notice.

My personal Headcannon for the Z-Move crystals being only 1 use per battle, is that it relies on a trusted bond between both pokemon and trainer, and the only reason we can do it once per battle, is because the pokemon knows how much energy it saps from 'us' to then be magnified and expanded upon by the pokemon because its your 'life' energy they're taking, and so won't let you risk potentially permanent damage to your body by overusing it. That's also probably why you have to wait and take a breather in between battles, to give your body a rest. This is also why they go all out in their attacks, with pokemon like Primarina creating a nuclear explosion with water bubbles, Decidueye causing mini bombs with its feathers landing into the ground around its target, and Incineroar existing, they go all out so that your energy isn't wasted. This is why when you use Ultra Necrozma's signature z-move, it actually looks like your player collapses despite the 'deadpan smile' they have, because to use Light that Burns the Sky, Necrozma needs nearly 'everything your body has to offer and if it took anymore then from that battle, it might very well 'kill' you.

My head canons of the Johto protagonists: I imagine Lyra being the type of person to when Ethan is watching a video on her phone and being really invested in it and then just clicking off the video and saying "that was boring." For Ethan (more like Gold in the manga) I can easily imagine him having to be pressured to help someone for free but the second Pokémon are involved he just says "Okay fine."
